This was a wedding bouquet designed for a September wedding at the Gardens of Stonebridge. The client wanted a lush and boho feel to the bouquets that included the colors of on trend mauves , terracottas, and rusts.
Willow eucalyptus helped to create a flowing boho vibe that compliments all the textural elements added in the bouquet. Apricot strawflowers were the PERFECT addition and I even plan on growing some in my garden next year.
This wedding bouquet had lots of local seasonal flowers from my garden added to it! The purple millet, cornel and cornel bronze dahlias, queen lime red zinnias, coral fountain amaranth and hot biscuit (what a great name) amaranth were all grown by me!
The addition of the light pinks/mauves helped to make this color pallette not feel too "fall". Chiffon silk ribbon in a burgundy tied everything together!
The bridesmaid bouquets are complimenting but not identical. I love to design them each differently but use the same ingredients. The ingredients are mostly the same as what was used in the bridal bouquet. I used weeping podocarups as the base foliage. And added a little sword fern!
This Pittsburgh wedding was held at the Gardens Of Stonebridge and featured a grounded installation for the ceremony, which was created foam free!
The centerpieces were a mix of bud vases and loose greenery. This can be a great way to get a lot of impact on your tables if you don't have a budget for very large centerpieces. I personally love the look of mixed bud vases! The sweetheart table arrangement was created the same as the grounded arch using a foam free design.
